Christmas countdown: spotlight on Cancun Boxy

Let's keep things short and sweet for our last three festive posts of the year, shall we? Like I said, I haven't been so great on the Personal Brand and photography side of things in 2019, so there are a few much-loved projects of mine that just haven't gotte the press they deserve. This Cancun Boxy Top is one of those projects.

I made a few amends to the pattern as I went along - I knit it in the round for speed, I changed the armholes and added edging to them and to the neck. It's a beautiful shiny burnt orange cotton that my sister managed to find at a yard sale in America. As with many of my favourite pieces, it's great for layering (I like layering, apparantly), and has taken me through the hottest days of summer, layreed with a lacy bralette, through to fall, over a cosy turtleneck. It's just easy, and who doesn't love easy when they're getting dressed!

Happy stitching,
Molly x
